The honest sorting of our three silhouettes by what a normal Tuesday actually asks of a bag.
Start from the load, not the look
Every bag conversation we have at the sewing table starts the same way: what did you carry yesterday? Not on the special day, the plain one. The answer sorts people into our three shapes faster than any style quiz.
If yesterday held a laptop, you are a tote person and the rest of this note is confirmation. If yesterday was a phone, a wallet and keys, the crescent will feel like a relief. Everyone else lives in slouchy territory, which is why we make it in 6 colors.
The slouchy: the default for a reason
At 13" L x 3.9" W x 9.4" H the slouchy takes a tablet, a wallet, a phone and sunglasses without looking stuffed. The magic is the fold: the whole bag collapses flat, packs into a suitcase, then shakes back into shape. It rides on the shoulder or across the body, and the pebbled vegan leather shrugs off the daily bump against door frames.
It is also the shape with the deepest color bench. Browns for people who want the bag to disappear into the outfit, burgundies for people who want one quiet flourish, black and beige for the two ends of the year.
The crescent: packing list of four
The crescent is 9.5" L x 3.5" W x 8.7" H and holds a phone, a slim wallet, keys and a lipstick. That is not a limitation, that is the point: on days when you carry little, a big bag makes you carry more. The zipper keeps the curve closed, the strap adjusts from shoulder to crossbody, and the retro shape does the dressing up for you.
The hobo tote: the laptop day
The tote is the big one: 15.5" W x 5" D x 15.2" H, sized so a 13" laptop, a book and the pouch it comes with. It comes with its own matching pouch, which sounds like a bonus until you use it, and then it is the reason your chargers stop living loose at the bottom of the bag.
It still folds flat like the slouchy, so it doubles as the extra bag inside the suitcase on the way out and the full one on the way back.
If you are still torn
Get the slouchy. It is the shape that covers the most days, it is where most of our shoppers started, and its review counter is the biggest in the line for a reason. You can always add a crescent later for the light days.
